Trauma & PTSD Therapy
– Online Support UK

😔 Feeling stuck in the past or overwhelmed in the present?

Trauma can affect how you feel, think, and respond — even long after something has happened.

You might find yourself reacting more strongly than you’d like, feeling constantly on edge, or struggling with emotions that don’t seem to make sense.

Sometimes it’s clear where it started. Other times, it’s harder to pinpoint.

Either way, the impact is real — and it can feel exhausting to carry on like this.

You don’t have to go through it alone 💛

🧠 You might be experiencing…

  • Feeling constantly alert or “on edge”

  • Flashbacks or unwanted memories

  • Difficulty relaxing or feeling safe

  • Strong emotional reactions that feel hard to control

  • Avoiding certain people, places or situations

  • Feeling numb, disconnected or shut down

  • Trouble sleeping or feeling drained

Even if what you went through was a long time ago — your body and mind may still be responding as if it’s happening now.

🔄 Why trauma affects you this way

Trauma impacts the nervous system and how your brain processes safety and threat.

When something overwhelming happens, your system can become stuck in a protective state — ready to respond quickly to danger.

This can show up as:

  • Fight (anger, irritability)

  • Flight (anxiety, restlessness)

  • Freeze (numbness, shutdown)

These responses are not weaknesses — they are your body’s way of trying to protect you.

But over time, they can begin to affect your daily life, relationships, and sense of self.

🤝 How I can help

I’m Roseanna, a Senior Accredited Counsellor specialising in trauma, anxiety and complex emotional experiences.

With over 15 years’ experience and more than 8,000 client hours, I’ve supported many people in understanding and processing trauma safely — helping them feel more grounded, stable, and in control.

Therapy with me is:

  • Warm, safe and non-judgmental

  • Trauma-informed and paced carefully

  • Focused on building stability as well as understanding

Together, we can:

  • Help your nervous system feel safer

  • Reduce overwhelm and emotional intensity

  • Gently process past experiences

  • Build coping tools that actually work for you

  • Support you in reconnecting with yourself

There is no pressure to revisit anything before you feel ready — we go at your pace.

💻 What therapy sessions are like

Sessions are 50 minutes and take place online, so you can access support from a space where you feel comfortable.

You can choose:

  • One-off sessions for flexible support

  • Weekly therapy through a monthly subscription

  • Longer-term support for deeper work

We focus first on helping you feel safe and stable, before moving into anything more in-depth.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a PTSD diagnosis?

No. You don’t need a diagnosis or referral — your experience is valid whether it has a label or not.

Will I have to talk about everything that happened?

No. Therapy is paced carefully. You are always in control of what you share and when.

Can trauma therapy really help?

Yes — with the right support, it’s possible to feel more stable, less overwhelmed, and more like yourself again.

What if I don’t remember everything clearly?

That’s completely okay. We work with what you’re experiencing now, not just what you remember.

🌿 You deserve to feel safe again

If you’ve been carrying the impact of trauma — whether recent or long ago — therapy can help you feel more grounded, calmer, and more in control of your life.

You don’t have to hold this on your own.
